Abstract

저자는 白鼠의 頭頸部에 放射線을 照射하여, 이로 인한 耳下腺조직에 미치는 영향을 규명
하기 위하여, 일정조건하에서 사육한 白鼠 24두를 Cobalt-60 심부치료 장치를 사용하여
Field Size가 12×5㎝, SSD가 50㎝, Depth가 1㎝인 조건에서 l0Gy의 放射線을 단회조사하였
다. 20두를 실험군으로 하고, 放射線을 조사하지 않은 4두를 대조군으로 하여 이들을 조사후
2일, 1주, 2주, 3주, 4주 후에 각각 4두씩 희생시켜 통법에 의해 일부 조직편은 H-E 중염색
과 H단염색을 시행하여 광학현미경으로 비교 관찰하였고 나머지 조직편은 PA-ACH로 처
리한 후, 형광현미경으로 B-Odichroic mirror와 Y455 barrier filter를 사용하여 관찰한 결과,
다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.
1. 耳下腺腺胞는 核은 심하게 변성되었고 섬유화되었으며, 腺胞내 分泌顆粒은 저류되었다.
腺胞간의 간격은 넓어졌으며, 線胞의 크기와 형태가 매우 불규칙하게 위축변화되었다.
2. 腺胞細胞의 核은 심하게 농축되었고 전위되었으며 매우 불규칙하게 응집되었다.
3.耳下腺腺胞조직의 변화는 실험 2일후부터 나타나기 시작하여 실험 2주후에 가장 심하게
나타났으나, 실험 4주후에는 거의 정상으로 회복되었다.
4. 耳下腺의 腺導管은 실험 1주후에 심하게 위축되고 연속성이 파괴되었으나 실험 3주후
에는 재생되기 시작하였다.

This study was designed to investigate the irradiation effects on the rat parotid gland,
applied to the head and neck region. For this experiment, twenty-four rats, feeded under
the even condition, were used as experimental animals. Twenty rats were used for
experimental group and the rest were assigned to the control group. The experimental
group was singly irradiated with 10 Gray through Cobalt-60 radiotherapy device, Picker
model 4M 60 (Field size; 12×5 ㎝, SSD; 50 ㎝, Depth; 1 ㎝).
The experimental animals of both group were sacrificed each four animals in 2 days,
1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks and 4 weeks after irradiation. The specimens were examined
through the light microscope using the H-I stain and H stain by routin procedure. The
other specimens were observed under the fluorescence microscope using the B-0
dichroic mirror and Y 455 barrier filter after PA-ACH stain.
The results of this study were obtained as follows,
1. The parotid acini were severely degenerated and the intraacinar spaces were
widened. Within the acini, retained secretory granules and increased fibrosis were
observed. Also the shape and the size of the acini showed very irregular atrophic
degenerations.
2. The nuclei showed severe pyknosis, displacement and irregular aggregated
appearance.
3. The tissue changes of the parotid acini were initiated after 2 days of irradiation
and most severely appeared at the second week of irradiation, but almost returned to
normal.
4. The salivary ducts of the parotid gland were severely atrophied, discontinued but
initiated to regenerated after 3 weeks of irradiation.
